Our Fees
We offer a high-quality service at affordable prices. We will give you a clear indication at the beginning of your case how much your costs will be.
We either charge a fixed fee or an hourly rate depending on the type of case. We are happy to clearly explain our fees and the likely costs involved in dealing with your requirements during your initial consultation with our team. We appreciate that every case is different, and therefore, everyone has different circumstances. Once we have discussed your options with you and decided the best way forward we can give an indication how long it will take to get an outcome on your case and the likely costs.
The costs listed below apply to a claim for an outstanding debt which is not disputed and enforcement action is not needed. If the other party disputes your claim at any point, we will discuss any further work required and provide you with revised advice about costs if necessary, calculated at our hourly rate (ranges from £150.00 to £350.00 per hour plus VAT, depending on the level of experience of the Solicitor).

- Interest and compensation may take the debt into a higher banding, with a higher cost.
- The costs quoted above are not for matters where enforcement action, such as the bailiff, is needed to collect your debt.
- Disbursements may be incurred. Disbursements are costs which are payable by us to third parties on your behalf. Expected disbursements for debt recovery actions are Court fees, barrister’s fees and expert’s fees (if applicable). VAT may be payable to barristers and experts .
Our Fee Include the following:
- Taking your instructions and reviewing documentation
- Undertaking appropriate searches
- Sending a letter before action
- Receiving payment and sending on to you, or if the debt is not paid, drafting and issuing a claim
- Where no Acknowledgment of Service or Defence is received, applying to the court to enter Judgment in Default
- When Judgment in Default in received, write to the other side to request payment
- If payment is not received in accordance with the Judgment, providing you with advice on next steps and likely costs
Matters usually take 3 to 6 months from receipt of instructions from you to receipt of payment from the other side, depending on whether or not it is necessary to issue a claim. This is on the basis that the other side pays promptly on receipt of Judgment in Default. If enforcement action is needed, the matter will take longer to resolve. If the Claim is defended, we will provide you with advice on next steps and likely costs calculated at our hourly rate (which range from £150.00 to £350.00 per hour plus VAT, depending on the level of experience of the Solicitor).
